Dr Cult-O M.E. Reviews “Wilson”

REVIEW:
Catching up on some weird fun. “Wilson” (based on Daniel Clowes comic classic) with Woody Harrelson as the title man with no plan. A true asshole who talks way too much and approaches strangers way too close. He can’t be like able to any human. But his bold honesty is a virtue.. on film, his targets deserve the jab to the ribs.

The movie is close to the comic adventures… and Harrelson is at his best. Laura Dern comes along as Wilson’s ex-wife, an equally horrible woman with baggage like a battleship.

Reminded me of “Bad Santa”, but the intent is to highlight Woody at his best. Black comedy is good for the soul. Wilson has the goods.
